Warning System Explained
Well not sure how well this will go but I have enabled the warning system. What this means is that you will get warning points for breaking site rules or policies. The warning points will serve as a reminder to members when they are out of line. Warning points expire after a given time. If you build up enough percentage you will face restrictions or possibly a ban.

Here are current warnings:
Advertising = 10 points expire in 1 Month
Bad Grammar= 2 points expire in 1 Day
Flaming= 5 points expire in 1 Week
Poor Quality Posting = 2 points expire in 1 Day
Cross Posting = 10 points expire in 1 week
CVV, Credit Card, or Related Sales = 20 points expire in 2 months
Trashing BST Thread = 5 points expires in 1 week
Off Topic Unrelated Post = 2 points expires in 1 day
Wrong Forum Posting = 5 points expires in 3 Days

More may be added.

Here are the penalties for earning too many points:
50% Moderate new posts for 2 Days
75% Suspend posting privileges for 3 Days
100% Move to banned group (Exiled) for 1 Week

Essentially if you earn 50% (50 points) all your posts will have to enter the moderation queue and won't be visible until staff has approved it. If you continue and get to 75% then lose posting rights. If you make it to 100% then your banned for 1 week.

These may change as I figure the system out.

Now here is the touchy iffy part. Right now HF l33t can give other members warnings! Yes that's right. HF l33t can now help moderate HF. If 3 HF l33t members give a total of 50% to a member they will enter the first phase of the penalties. Makes things kind of cool doesn't it?

However HFl33t can give a max of 2 warnings per 24 hours. So it will be hard to abuse. If it is abused I will turn this feature off and it's a good chance I will be placing the offending account(s) on Limited status.

Currently mybb does a poor job of helping to centralize warnings for members to get info on who was warned and for what but I am going to work on something to help that process.
